Hi, we’re Caitlin, Isaac and Benjamin (our adventurous Westie!) travelling full-time around Australia. We’re all about living off-grid, discovering hidden local gems, and sharing honest gear reviews for life on the road.

Welcome to Drifters Downunder

We began this journey to explore Australia’s vast and beautiful landscapes while living simply and sustainably off-grid. Along the way, we’ve gathered tips, tested gear, and uncovered local favourites. Now we’re sharing it all with fellow travellers, digital nomads, and outdoor lovers.

We’re travelling in our 2017 manual Toyota Landcruiser Prado GXL, towing an AusTrack Tanami X11 camper – our home on wheels as we explore the country!.

Caitlin works remotely three days a week as an HR specialist, balancing work with travel.
Isaac is embracing the challenge of finding work while we move around, adapting as we go.

And Benjamin? He’s just living his best life, sniffing out every scent!
